Stafford
Set in the grounds of the Stafford outdoor education centre, this site offers the unique chance to learn and practice the skills of survival and bushcraft. Situated on the border of Cannock Wood the Beaudesert Scout Camp gives you the chance to explore some of the oldest woodland in the UK. Artists have been known to come from afar just to paint this area, particularly first thing in the morning when the mist is just lifting and the birds are starting to sing. Waking up in your shelter which you have built yourself, lighting your fire, then settling down with your cup of tea and taking in the beautiful surroundings is a moment in life when all your troubles fade away. This site is ideal for the novice and children as the site offers showers and toilet.
